Question : windows 7 all tabs in ie are showing in my taskbar, how do I stop that?

If I open two internet explorer windows in windows 7, I can see in my taskbar two ie instances.  If I open a tab in one of my ie instances, I see another instance in the taskbar.  When I mouse over my ie icon, I can see my open ie instances and all tabs.

How do I stop the display of the tabs as extra instances of ie?  I still want to preview each seperate window, just not the seperate tabs.

Bring up the tools menu in IE (press the left Alt key to reveal the menu bar if it is hidden), then choose "Internet Options". Look for the section on this window marked "Tabs". Click the "Setting" button under this section. Uncheck "Show previews for individual tabs in the taskbar"
