Question : Microsoft .NET Framework v1.0.3705 Update preventing entering standby...

I am getting a "System Standby Failed" error message when I try to put system
in standby mode.
The full length message is: The service 'Microsoft .NET
Framework v1.0.3705 Update' is preventing the machine from entering standby.
Try stopping this service and try again.

Any suggestions? I tried to find anything helpful on the web and the
Microsoft site but without any success. Help?!

Did you install the SQL Server Express 2005 advanced edition SP2 or the standard edition?

Without completely understanding your problem, it is difficult to say whether anything would be a panacea.
