Question : Reset Powerpoint hyperlinks

Does anyone understand hyperlinks in Powerpoint.  It seems like sometimes I open a presentation and they are all reset.  other times it seems like they are not reset and the clicked links are still a different color.  Anybody understand them?

It's to do with the slide colour scheme.  There's a nice tutorial on dealing with it here
