Question : Autofill with letters of the alphabet...
This is an answer not a question!
For a long time it has annoyed me that if I enter Monday or Mon in a cell and then drag-fill (using the cell's bottom right hand corner +) it across columns or down columns it will autofill with the days of the week, but when I have tried the same thing with just letters of the alphabet it did not work. ALT+drag or CTRL+drag didn't do it so I just didn't bother to think about it - 'til now. You'll all no doubt say the solution is obvious, but I didn't see it until a moment ago!
If the letters of the alphabet are entered A to Z in a column or a row, highlight the cells with the letters and then go to Tools/Options/CustomList/A
dd and all of the letters of the alphabet will be inserted as a custom list. After that the drag-fill method of autofilling with letters of the alphabet is automatic.
Apologies to you all if you got there years ago!
