Question : Is it important to delete WRL files
|
|
When I view hidden files, I see that the directory where I keep all of my Word files has many files that begin with ~WRL, such as ~WRL0190.tmp
It has these files even when I have no Word files open.
Should I delete these files? if you say I should, do you mean I should do it to save space, or because these files will do harm to a Word file I open up in the future? (if the latter, that would mean that every so often I should set my computer up to view hidden files and then delete all such files)
Thank you
P.S. I'm running Word 97 on a windows 98SE computer

Usually it should not happen. Those are usually ur "last saved verision before ur windows/word crash" Thus, i feel it is safe to delete.
Thats what i feel... maybe u wanna wait to see if any experts have any opinion about it.. ;)
