Question : MSOffice Home and Student  2007 with Outlook 2003?

A client purchased a shiny new Dell XP laptop and installed MSOffice Student and Home 2007.  This version does not contain Outlook.

The same client wants to port her Outlook mail from desktop to laptop.  A bit of an issue since the laptop does not have Outlook.  This client uses the calendar & ToDo feature w/in Outlook heavilly.  Can I install Outlook 2003 on the laptop that has Office 2007?

There is yet a rarely used non-networked machine in the same household that has Outlook installed, but not used...I don't believe this a violation of the EULA.

Will there be a license key issue?
Will there be a conflict with Office 2007 & Outlook 2003?

Thanks in advance,
Rob

Many thanks in advance.

Hello coldspringsolutions,

Yes, you can install Outlook 2003 in the laptop.  Some of Outlook integration with Word will not work, like spell check, and use Word as editor.  But if you are not using those features, Outlook will work to import the emails.

Hope this helps!
