Question : Group policy- prevent to save on the desktop
I have applied the GP on the Domain against the desktop. My requirement is that prevent to save any thing on the desktop so I applied the below policy on default domain policy.
Default domain Policy/user Configuration/Desktop/Acti
ve Desktop-
Enable Active Desktop-Enable
Prohibit adding items-Enable
Probihit Changes-Enable
Prohibit deleting Items-Enable
Prohibit editing items-Enable
But I am able to create/add/delete folders and files on the desktop. Is there no error is showing so pls consider it and provide the solution.

This may be achieved by forcing active desktop and then lock it up :
USER
Administrative Templates\
Desktop\
Active Desktop
=>Enable Active Desktop
=>Prohibit changes
=>Prohibit adding items
=>Prohibit deleting items
I just test it and works.
