Question : Disk Quotas
Hey Guys,
Using Windows server 2003
If I setup a disk quota here:
Computer Configuration>Administrati
ve Templates>System>Disk Quotas
1) Stupid question but this always confuses me, will this gpo be on the computers OU? Because I have a separate OU for users and another one for PCS
2) Once that is setup, How does it work? That quota starts to count from the time the policy was enforced? Because users have stuff saved on c: already.
3) Will that limit the user from copying stuff to c: to that much space? Because I dont want users to save unlimited amount of stuff to C:
4) I will be enforcing profile quota as well, because mainly I am trying all users to save all their work not in their profiles (Desktop/Docsuments) rather go to their personal shares, because those are backed up. Would the NTFS quota I am referring to effect profile quota or vice versa?
