Question : cannot delete shared calendar items in OWA exchange 2007

we need to have some users manage shared calendars via OWA. users were able to add, edit and delete items. not sure what happened but last couple weeks, users are not able to delete an item at all. this happens to all shared calendars and not particular calendar.
the problem is only in OWA. In outlook, users can delete items from shared calendars.
any idea or suggestion is greatly appricated.
