Question : Disconnected network drive connects again at logon
A user has 3 network drives that I want to disconnect. This works, but when he logs off and on, they are back.
I have disconnected them with net use x: /delete and this doesn't help.
There is no logon script and the user has never connected these drives. Someone else who logged on to this pc must have connected them but I thought such settings are saved per profile?
I read somewhere that cleaning the cache might help. Where do I find the Windows cache?
Answer : Disconnected network drive connects again at logon
Apparently there was still a logon script running locally that the outsourcing company didn't tell me about... They switched it off and it's fine now.
Thank you.
