Question : Server 2008R2 and XP Roaming Profiles

Hi,
I am having a huge problem with getting Roaming Profiles working with Server 2008R2 and XP workstations. Basicallly i have built a new domain so there is no importing profiles from another domain. I have a file server which is also Server 2008R2. I have a share on it for the profiles with share permissions set to Everyone with full control and NTFS permissions set to Everyone full control. I have not changed any of the default domain GPO and have checked the option in the policy to make sure that the setting preventing propagating of roaming profiles is set to not configured. I have set up the path in the settings of the user to \\filesrv\Raomingprofiles\%username%. When i log into workstation is recongises the user profile as roaming and creates a local copy of it but when i log off it does not propergate to the server it just creates a folder on the file server with the username but no profile is uploaded. If i then log on as admin and  copy the local copy of the roaming profile that was just created  to the fileserver and set the perrmitted to change permission correctly i then delete the local copy of the roaming profile. and log back onto the workstation it picks up the roaming profile that i had just copied to the server  server but when i log back off it does not propergate back to the server .  I loggged on the file server and created a desktop item in the user profile just to make sure that it was copying the user profile down to the workstation.  Any help with this problem would be much appreciated.

Oh so the users are pre-2008 users? If you create a new user in 2008 does it work right? There is a lot of stuff that can be wrong, but usually its permissions, look at this thread, too many tips on what to check/try to list them all here, but i am sure the one or other thing could fix your problem:
