Question : Creative SB0460 - Windows 7

I have upgraded my Dell Precision 390 to Windows 7.  The only driver issue I have is with sound.  I've tried the following two drivers:

This one from Dell, is for Vista, figured I'd give it a shot, but the install does not complete.

This one, straight from Creative says it does support Windows 7, the install runs through fine and in Device Manager, it says the device is working properly, however I still have no sound.

Any ideas?

Also, make sure Onboard Audio is disabled in the BIOS. I have seen cases where one OS will ignore onboard audio when a PCI solution is installed and others that will not. It could be causing a conflict. Try double checking that this is disabled. If you aren't sure how to access the BIOS, it usually involves hitting escape or one of the F1 - F12 keys upon rebooting your machine. Usually the bootup screen will tell you "Press F1 for setup" or something like that.
