Question : reset server node -WSUS3 -SP2

O/S is Win2003 server - SP2.
Running WSUS3 + SP2 . Get an error message "Reset Server Node" when start WSUS, tried re-booting, shutdown all the apps in start menu such as Antivirus, Ghost ... but no luck
I have gone through this problem 3 times, I normally re-install WSUS3 but it is NOT  "the best" solution as I want to learn. Why we get that error? I knew it would happen.
Any suggestion is very much appreciated

Answer : reset server node -WSUS3 -SP2

I did not get a chance to do ASP.net as accidently I remove the "server connection" so I decided to re-install wsus3. However I do appreciate your help. Below is the answer from Lawrence  Garvin(Principal/CTO, Onsite Technology Solutions, Houston, Texas).

The "Reset Server Node" happens whenever the connection betwen the console and the WSUS Server is interrupted. This can also happen if the connection between the WSUS Server and a back-end database server is interrupted.

Essentially it happens because the console is hypersensitive to connectivity, and doesn't properly implement retries as well as might be desirable. If the console is attempting to do a refresh or data retrieval and the IIS server times out, or the database server/service times out, the result is the "Reset Server Node" screen.
