Question : Confused on the Windows 7 Virtual PC

We're a bit confused and hope. like always, EE can clear this question.

I just upgraded to Windows 7 Professional from Vista Business.  All seems ok, but my when running my VPC it gave me an error message regarding the network "sys" file that is missing (i couldn't write down the message since we clicked it pretty fast).

I assumed I had to go and download and install VPC for Windows 7 but the page display a "Windows XP Mode" options.  The only option to download seems the "XP mode"

What I want is just to use my current VPC drives with LAN option.

What is exactly XP Mode and is ist the actual VPC complete download.

You need to download two files from Microsoft:  the XP Mode virtual Pc, and the program Windows Virtual Pc itself.  This page has a pretty good article on this feature of Windows 7:
