Question : Exchange 2007 - Multiple SMTP email address policies

We have Exchange 2007 and although I've been struggling a little bit to find out where Microsoft put all the options it's going OK.  The problem I have is regarding SMTP email address policies for employees.  I have set an email policy to include several other domains for an employees email address.  So when we add a new user, they can receive email at [email protected], [email protected], [email protected], etc.

My problem comes into play with the reply address.  This organization is really two companies in one and I need to have a seperate policy for a certain list of employees where the reply to address is different than the others.  I can do this for each individual employee if I go to SMTP Email Addresses and uncheck "Update from Policy", however then I must remove each person manually from the policy and keep them seperate.  I'd much rather have one email policy assigned to one group of employees and another policy assigned to another group.

Is this possible?

btw Experts-Exchange, what is up with the new submittal process? Select a time zone???  Can anyone else find Central time zone?  I sure as heII couldn't.

Answer : Exchange 2007 - Multiple SMTP email address policies

Exchange 2007 uses Opath filtering for EAP( email address policies)
What you need to do is mark certain users customattribute or use department or any other opath filters
next
create 2 EAP
1 sets reply address 1
1 sets reply address 2
the filter on the EAP will execute
