Question : Out look archive error

When Outlook opens every time, I am getting the following popup screen
"The date file 'Archive' not closed properly. The file is being checked for problems"

What I have done so far on this issue
scanpst.exe
created new archive folder
Re-installed Office 2003

The error is still comes everytime when Outlook opens.

Answer : Out look archive error

Do you still have the original PST file in its original location?  rename it from .PST to .OLD.  


I ahve Outlook 2007, but your proper instructions should be similar:
In Tools... Account Settings, go to the Data Files.
Find the entry for your PST, highlight it, and go to its settings or properties.
In the settings window for the PST, change the path and file name to the appropriate updated path/filename.
