Question : Share resource fails to bring online

Hi,

We're having trobules with a file share reosurce on a w2k3 cluster. The File Share depends of a physical disk and of the cluster network name. The disk goes online but when you go to the Parameters tab the Disk box shows nothing when it should show the name of the disk.

When I bring on line the physical disk I see the drive letter E and the data, but when I try to bring online the file share fails with an error 5.

Another strange thisn is that the drive letter loses the driver$ share!.

Any idea?.

Answer : Share resource fails to bring online

Make sure that the cluster service account has enough permissions to bring the share back online.
