Question : Installing Exchange 2010, having issues passing the Readiness Check.

Hello, currently we have a single 2003 Domain with one Exchange 2003 Server and severl domain controllers and member servers.

I have created a Server 2008 member server and began the Exchange 2010 installation.  Below are the errors I'm getting.  I have removed and re-installed IIS with no luck.  The domain name issue is probably the most disturbing.  Our domain has a _ (underscore) in it, something like ourcompany_hou.local.  This was done many years ago originally on an NT4 domain, with no other problems until now.
Am I understanding that Exchange 2010 absolutely will not install without passing the domain name prerequisites?  If not, what are my options?

Thanks

Andrew

Answer : Installing Exchange 2010, having issues passing the Readiness Check.

Its a known issue see http://support.microsoft.com/kb/975104
the underscore is not supported BY DESIGN (thanks MS)

Your only options as far as I can see are
a) rename the domain
b) create a new domain and port everything accross

nieithr of which apeal very much
