Question : EMF files

What are .EMF files?  I have over 1100 of these files in: Windows/Temp/*.EMF.  They usually look like: "mso444.EMF" or "mso345.EMF".  I do not know what they are or how they got there.  I have Windows '98.  Should I delete them?

Answer : EMF files

They appear to be family tree maker temp files and you should have not problems deleting them. Dave
