Question : Windows 2008 R2

Hi Experts,

in Windows 2008 & vista & Windows 7 Public Desktop is located in C:\Users\Public... \Public Desktop.

In Windows 2008 R2 (!) doesn't exists a Public Desktop folder???

Answer : Windows 2008 R2

By Default, in 2008 R2 the public desktop folder is hidden.   There are 2 ways you can get to this.

1.  in the explore bar type inC:\Users\Public\Desktop
2.  In the control panel go to the folder options and select so show hidden files and folders.  When you browse to the public folder, you should see the public desktop.
