Question : Problems using HP SmartStart CD to install HP Insight Management Agents for Windows Server 2008 R2 x64 Edition

I have a HP Proliant DL380 with Windows 2008 R2 std. x64 OS and I've installed HP Smart Start 8.30-0-x64 however I'm having problems installing the HP Insight Management Agent for Windows 2008 R2 x64 OS.

Trying to install HP Insight Management Agents for Windows Server 2008 R2 x64 Edition - won't install - says failed dependencies:

Installation for "HP Insight Management Agents for Windows Server 2003/2008 x64 Editions" requires one or more of the following that is not currently installed or in the install set:

- HP ProLiant Advanced System Management Controller Driver for Windows
- HP ProLiant iLO Advanced and Enhanced System Management Controller Driver for Windows
- HP ProLiant iLO 2 Management Controller Driver for Windows

I have downloaded cp010757.exe and when I try to install I receive this error message:

The software is not supported for installation on this system.

The installation program couldn't find the appropriate system management controller driver which is required but is not currently installed.  Please install the appropriate system management controller driver and then rerun the setup program.

Press 'Close' to exit Setup.

Where can I find the system management controller driver or does anyone know where I can find the HP Insight Management Agent for Windows 2008 R2 x64 os?

Each of the Insight Management Agents give me an error message that it is not valid with my OS?

oh.... DL380 G4 is not technically supported to run Windows 2008 R2.  You can see here, that you can not select this version of the OS... you can installed non-R2  Windows 2008:   http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/DriverDownload.jsp?prodNameId=3288132&lang=en&cc=us&taskId=135&prodClassId=-1&prodTypeId=15351&prodSeriesId=397634

You need a G5 or later to run Windows 2008 R2.
