How can I put the file name and a SHORT path at the bottom of my word 2007 documents?
The problem that I currently have is that the path is either too long or too ongoing. I just want to have the last couple folders shown for my file path.
Is there a way to do this?

Put the cursor where you want the output then:
insert tab | links pane | Bookmark
In bookmark name field type base now enter back to the document
Job done.
