Question : Exporting .pst file data to SQL Server 2005

I am working with an ASP.NET application thats main purpose is a repository for archived data.   We are looking at the options available for importing .pst files into SQL Server 2005 so the data can be searched via the application.   What is the best way to import .pst files into SQL Server 2005?

Do you mean an Outlook PST file? If yes, sorry that is a very difficult challenged involving writing custom code.  PST file content can't be indexed or searched using SQL.  You'd have to convert the content to another format.

In fact I don't even know of a way to index PST files at all.
