I have an Access 2000 .MDE (Compiled) that several clients use. Several complained that they were receiving the following error:
"3075 Function is not available in expressions in query expression"
After some investigation (and help from this site) it turned out that a reference to the MSFLXGRD.OCX was missing from their machines. I always assumed that this control was a standard MS control installed with Windows, but apparently not.
Rather than creating a Service Pack and distributing it to all clients, I thought it might make more sense to point the clients to a site where it can be easily downloaded. (Preferrably, Microsoft's site) Does anyone know of such a place.
I'm fairly certain that this control was installed with Access 98 because I haven't received any complaints from 98 users. Why would Microsoft remove this moving forward???? Baffling to say the least.
Any help would be greatly appreciated...
