Question : Navision with SQL Server 2005 Professional or Enterprise?
Hello,
We have an old installed version of Navision 3.6 running against SQL Server 2000. We need sql server due to a series of reports that hit the database (reports outside of Navision).
Our VAR recommended using SQL Server 2005 as the backend database and that will speed things up... but does it make a difference for Navision if we use Professional or Enterprise?
I am confused because of the differences between the two versions and how Indexed Views are handled.
Thanks!!
Rico

In Navision there is a version on both the application and the executables.
Navision 3.6 executeable are not supported on SQL2005. I believe you need 4.03 or 5.01.
