Question : Cannot uninstall Exchange 2010 Hub transport role of previously deleted 2008 R2 server

I had installed exchange 2010 on a new server 2008 R2 in an existing domain and the installation did not go well.  I had only installed the CAS and Hub transport role.
I re-installed server 2008 r2 and exchange 2010 CAS and Hub roles on a newly named server.  I get the hub role of the old server and the new server on Exchnage 2010.  I had deleted all signs of the old server.  How can I uninstall just the deleted server hub transport role from exchange 2010..  My domain has a server 2008 with exchnage 2007 and I am transitioning to 2010.  Thanks

Do one thing go to the ADSIEDIT.MSC and delete the server instance if it no longer exists, now force AD replication and reboot the Exchange ........ see what happens and just update ..... sorry was busy with much loaded work for myself ....
