Question : telnet not sending mail content?
Hi,
I am trying to create a message in telnet but have the following problem:
Can connect to the mail server OK, specify from and to addresses OK and enter the 'data' section as follows:
data
subject:test email
test email content
.
This quees the message for delivery and it appears in the mailbox as expected except that the 'test email content' is missing. It has the subject but no content.
Am I missing something simple here?
Thanks, J

You need to have a blank line between the subject and the body (RFC 2822 standard)
