Question : How to share session between two web sites hosted on two different web server without web farm

Dear Guru,
      I want to share session between two web site developed in ASP.net. Same web sites hosted on two different web server. I want store some value in session using one website and retrieve the  same session value on another web site. I know it's possible if I use web farm and load balancing . But I don't want to use web farm. I have tried to use session mode sql server , state server. But still I did not get any success .If is there any solution for this .Please let me know. Please tell me any idea to solve this problem. One more thing I don't want to use two virtual directory (Like parent Child).
