Question : Exchange 2007 Storage Groups

I have Exchange 2007 standard with one storage group with a database that is nearly max'd out.  My thought is to add a few more storage groups and distribute users among all of the stores to regain some database capacity.  Are there any drawbacks or considerations to this idea?

in both cases for 75 users I wouldn't worry at all
