Question : You Have Exceeded the Maximum Number of Computer Accounts
Hello Experts,
Currently we have 200 workstation member of the domain, one day I got this error message when I want to join one workstation to the domain, I check on the site on how to increase the computer registered
http://support.microsoft.c
om/kb/2513
35
and check here in our config and it says 10, so how come we have this 200 Workstation registered and yet 10 is only allowed.
now one thing comes in my mind is that if I changed this to 500 thus it will fix the problem? I just want to know before changing settings on our server.
Thanks in Advance
Answer : You Have Exceeded the Maximum Number of Computer Accounts
Non administrator accounts can add upto 10 workstations to the domain.
This should not effect users that are members of Domain Admins group.
