Question : Acrobat will not open in a new window from IE
We have an internal web app that users run in IE on Windows XP workstations, and it generates a report in PDF format in a new window. As long as pop-up blocker has an exception specified or is turned off this works like a charm on all workstations except one newly installed machine. On this new machine, once you select the "generate report" button it pauses a moment for processing and then when Acrobat reader should pop up in a new window with the PDF report nothing happens. We've verified that the report is in fact being generated and if we put in the URL to the PDF itself it comes up fine. In IE we've opened up security, shut off pop-up blockers, checked settings etc. to no avail. Any suggestions? It is this specific workstation with the issue and is not user specific.

Found it!! The user had downloaded a mapquest toolbar that was blocking the popup. Removed it and it's working like a charm. Thanks for your time and help!
