Question : Word 2007 opens slowly in Windows 7

Hello Everyone
am using Windows 7 ultimate 64bit edition on a new Dell PC.
I got word 2007, and word performance is too slow, I relised that if i set my default printer to XPS document writer then word works very fast but as soon i set my network printer (Ricoh Alficio MP 7000) as default then Word goes terribly slow. and if i try to print something it just hangs up .

looks like surely its problem with network printers and Windows 7,
anyone had same issue or any help will be much appriciated.

Have you tried to disable the IP ver 6 on the NIC card?
