Question : How do I find what updates have been applied to a computer

Our Access database won't let us do any VBA editing.  I thought our frontend was damaged however I opened a backup copy from 2008 and it does the same thing.  So that leads me to believe a Microsoft update has caused the problem.  So I want to se what updates have been applied to the workstation.
Also if any Access Expert can shed some light on this.  What happens is when we click to edit the event procedure for on click, the database crashes.

Is this Windows XP?

If yes then do the following:

Launch "Add / Remove Programs" from your Windows Control Panel. At the top of the context menu you shoud see a box that say "Show Updates" If you scroll down to your Office Installation it should have the attached updates listed under the main program group.
