Question : Windows home server - a quick tutorial please?
I got an HP window home server box and have a few questions for an all Win XP network.
the unit came with 3 cds - 1 for reinstall of home server, 1 for install on the desktops and a restore CD.
I have 1 desktop connected / loaded with the software. This machine is being backed up by home server and I installed the software from the 1 CD.
What do I have to do to get other machines to be backed up also? Install the CD software on those other machines also? Or is there a shared folder on the home server that I can run the backup agent install from?
thanks!

You can do either of the things you suggested. You can run the CD or connect to \\homeservername\software where you will find the connection software. Both will work fine and will configure backups just like the 1st machine.
