Question : Files will not drag and drop on Windows XP SP3

Hello,
One of my users is completely not able to drag and drop files on his computer. I thought this may be some form of virus but the virus scan did not fix it... I cannot find any info online about this. Has anyone had this problem and how do I fix it? Perhaps it is the operating system... so I am putting this question in the Windows area. Thanks !
