Question : GoogleToolbarUser_32.exe process using 50% of CPU
GoogleToolbarUser_32.exe process is constantly using around 50% of CPU in Task Manager on my 2.2GHz Core2 machine running Windows Vista 32-bit Home Premium SP2 with 2GB RAM memory. I run up-to-date Nod32 antivirus software and believe that I don't have a virus.
As I understand, GoogleToolbar is a small (292KB) add-on in my Internet Explorer 8, so I don't understand why would it constantly need so much processing power? Even so, I wouldn't like to uninstall it, as I want to be able to see Google Page Ranks of web pages I'm visiting.
Any explanation or help in reducing its CPU load would be much appreciated, with thanks.

Have you tried uninstalling the toolbar and re-installing it?
