Question : DSUM Mulitple Criteria

I am having some difficulty with the DSUM function below.

=DSum("[PERCENT_DESIG]","TBL_BENEFICIARY","[REC_ID]=[txtREC_ID]") And ([DESIG]="Primary")

REC ID      PERCENT DESIG      DESIG
01             50%                         Primary
02             50%                         Primary
03             100%                       Secondary

I need to display 100% is the field...
