Question : Default background color for new users
Hello all, I'm trying to modify the registry to change the desktop/background color for all existing and NEW users. I have the changed the hkcu\control panel\colors\background field and the hku\.default\control panel\colors\background field and i have loaded the default user's ntuser.dat file into the registry and modified the color there. The problem is when I create a new user, the new user still has the same default blue color loaded into the hkcu\control panel\colors\background field. Any pointers on how to change this effectively so when i create a new user, the background color is set to my desires? Thanks!
Answer : Default background color for new users
Create a new user, make the required customization, then copy it as the "Default User" (I suggest you 1st rename the original "Default User" profile.
