Question : Excel to reporting services

Hi All,

I need your assistance. We are developing a few hundreds reports using reporting services 2005, the original reports are in Excel.  We need to develop the reports using reporting services based on the Excel spreadsheets.

A time consuming task is designing the reports based on the spreadsheet. However a former colleague used to convert the excel spreadsheet to XML then copy the XML to reporting services and the reports were a replica of the excel spreadsheet including formatting, tables, etc. Avoiding the manual development of the reports.

Anyone here knows how can I convert the excel spreadsheet to xml then copy the xml to reporting services. Or if you have another way of doing this I will appreciate it.

I'm beginner with reporting services by the way.

EXCEL provide the feature to save the EXCEL directly as XML.
