Question : SBS 2008 Upgrade from W2003 Domain
I cannot get the migration to work.
I keep reformatting and copying the answer file onto the server when I press next it then just ignores the answer file and moves on with the standard setup procedure, however i am following the ms articles and it is wasting several hours of my time!

At this point you just need to reboot it will then restart read the setup file and continue.
Wow I had so much hassle with this too and no one had the answer

NoActiveDesktop under LOCAL_MACHINE gets reset to value of 1 after reboot. If NoActiveDesktop key under LOCAL_MACHINE is deleted, it is recreated and assigned a value of 1.
