I have tried running Office Repair from the disk and this brings up 2 registry errors with the following messages:
"Error 1406. Setup cannot write the value to the registry key \CLSID\{F0291081-E87C-4E07
-970A-A0A0
3761E536}.
Verify that you have sufficient permissions to access the registry."

I have also tried reinstalling Office with no success.

Unfortunately none of the above has worked. We have since found out that the files have been corrupted and are beyond repair. Thanks for your input; it has been appreciated.
