Question : Your offline folder file cannot be configured

I have a Vista Enterprise workstation running Outlook 2007 and whenever a
particular (domain) user logs on, they get the following error: (other users are fine)

"Your offline folder file cannot be configured"

C:\users\.nName>\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Outlook\Outlook.ost.

also when i go to control panel Mail icon is missing.

Answer : Your offline folder file cannot be configured

Look in Control Panel -> View 32-bit Control Panel Items to see the Mail Icon. In there (Mail Icon) or in Outlook -> Tools -> Email settings you will see the Data Files tab.

Also in Outlook is Tools -> Send/Receive -> Send/Receive Settings -> Send/Receive Groups where you can set up the Offline OST file.
