Question : Error 1327 Invalid Drive - installing applications - "Documents" on network drive - offline file sycn
Hi,
I've got an annoying problem that often applications wont install to my laptop and they give Error 1327.
I know (I think) what the problem is related to. The fact that I have relocated my "Documents" folder (within Vista 32 bit Ultimate) to a network drive. The drive is mapped as my T drive and I made the documents shortcut to that dirve.
I also use offline file synchronisation. The idea is that all my files are on my NAS and sync up as a real time (more or less) backup and when I'm away I still have all my files.
Generally works quite well, accept for apps that give this darn installation error
"Error 1327 - Invalid Drive: T\:"
I assume it is poor installation coding, but what can I do about it.
Any input greatly apprecaited. I hope offline file synch is even better in Windows 7.
Thanks
