Question : Invalid Certificates and Settings with Exchange 2007 SP2 Autodiscover

I have a Windows Server 2008 with Exchange Server 2007 SP2.  The client workstations are receiving pop-ups saying the security certificate name does not match.  I believe this also cause them to be unable to download the Offline Address Book. Outlook constantly logs sync issues stating the Url cannot be located to download the OAB.

How do I get these certificates and urls to match up.
I would like to use outlook anywhere with just a self-signed certificate.  But the names are invalid.

Answer : Invalid Certificates and Settings with Exchange 2007 SP2 Autodiscover

please check the Authentication mechanism for the following Virtual Directories as mentioned below:-

Autodiscover-> Basic+Windows Integrated - SSL was disabled. == Enabled SSL
EWS-> Windows Integrated -- SSL was disabled. == Enabled SSL.
OAB-> Windows Integrated.

After that please check the Outlook 2007 Clients, Hold CTRL key and right click on Outlook 2007 symbol in the tray notify and check what information you get there. If you get the following output please follow the below mentioned steps:-

Local autodiscover for itpsolutions.co.uk starting
Local autodiscover for itpsolutions.co.uk FAILED (0x8004010F)
Redirect check to
http://autodiscover.itpsolutions.co.uk/autodiscover/autodiscover.xml starting

Remove and recreate the Autodiscover Virtual Directory.
Then follow the kb- 940726 and set the InternalUri.

If still issue persists, please run the following command shell, and let me know the output:-
