Question : Exchange 2003 or 2007 with VMWARE
Has anyone tried to using Exchange 2003 or 2007 on VMWARE, is it recommended?
We currently have 2 ESX 3.5 VMWARE servers with Virtual Center. And we are thinking of, 1) trying to save some money and putting it on our VMSERVE. Or 2) just getting a whole new server for the exchange.
our specs for our VMSERVERS are 2 3.0ghz quad core xeons with 24gigs of RAM.
Thanks in advance for everyones help.
Answer : Exchange 2003 or 2007 with VMWARE
I have had Exchange 2007 and Exchange 2010 running on a VMWare ESX cluster with an iSCSI SAN. supporting 2200 users.
It works perfectly.
As for recommended I can't tell you but all I can say is it works well.
