Question : Migrating shares from Windows 2003 to 2008
The registry process listed in question ID: 22512476 has always worked for 2000->2003 and 2003->2003. Can anyone confirm if this registry process for migrating shares assuming all drive letters/paths match works going from 2003 to 2008 both 32 bit and 64 bit?
Excerpt from question ID: 22512476
sure your drive letters and the data match. Then export the registry key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\
CurrentCon
trolSet\Se
rvices\lan
manserver\
Shares
And also:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\
CurrentCon
trolSet\Se
rvices\lan
