Question : can i install windows 7 on an external USB hard disk ?.

Hi expert,

I have windows xp professional on my dell laptop. Can i install windows 7 as a Dual boot on my c:\ in my laptop ?
e:\ is my extenal usb  hardisk drive . would like to have the e:\windows folder to go there ?
can i do it ?  let me know if you require any addiotnal information or clarification.
