Question : Windows Explorer Keeps shutting down and restarting (VISTA)
My laptop with Vista on it goes into and endless loop of Windows Explorer starting up, crashing and restarting. This occurs as soon as the computer is booting up. It also happens in safe mode. It started occuring after installing QuickTime. I uninstalled, but that didn't help. I reinstalled, that didn't help either. Please let me know how to resolve.
Answer : Windows Explorer Keeps shutting down and restarting (VISTA)
I fixed the problem. It seems there were a few new mp4 video files on my desktop. The icon for one of them must have been causing the crash. I deleted all three, and now it works fine.
