Question : Custom Site Definition

I am using sharepoint 2007. I created a new site definition using examples from a book called Developers guide to Windows Sharepoint Services. 3.0. When I select the template and try to continue I get an error. I am new to sharepoint and haven't got a clue.

Althogh I haven't done anything to customize site definition in this version, My guess is you may have some typo or not close the XML tag properly.

If you have copy of the original files and customized one, do and file comparsion and find out any possible typo, wrong up or lower case and tags.
