Question : Multiple Monitors in VDI

How do I enable multiple monitors to show split screens (ie. i can maximize docs etc. on one screen without spanning both monitors) using VDI?  I am using a thin client to connect to my virtual desktop running Windows 7 in Hyper-V environment.  My thin client has RDP 7 installed.  The workaround is to use a program called Splitview, but how can I do this without using third party software?  It works just fine if i enable multiple monitors in my RDP session while connecting to Windows Server 2008, but not my virtual desktop.  Thanks for the help.

Answer : Multiple Monitors in VDI

I am almost sure your hosted desktop is running Windows 7 Professional. Is that the case? If it is, that is your problem. Multimonitor is only supported on Windows 7 Enterprise and Ultimate.
